Melena Saddler is a Bronx Native and Black woman that prioritizes the mental health needs of other women of color. Melena is a licensed psychotherapist in the states of New York and Connecticut. Her passion is to work with women of color who are survivors of childhood sexual trauma on their concerns in the areas of self-security, romantic/interpersonal relationships, and symptom management. As a survivor herself she understands first hand what it feels like to be violated, confused, and struggle with feelings of unworthiness. She believes in working collaboratively to address your presenting concerns as they are connected to your past experiences. A commitment to healing is important when working to bring about change. Melena is with you every step of the way while you learn to prioritize your needs and cultivate the life you truly desire.
